Camp at Stony Creek
Consider Camp!
Stony Lake Lutheran Camp in New Era, Michigan offers kids of all ages an opportunity to experience a week away for summer fun in a faith-filled environment. It is a safe place for all of God’s children to experience intentional community centered in Christ where they are formed in their faith, developed as leaders, and equipped as servants of the gospel. (And Pastor Amy highly recommends it!) Here are some possibilities for your kids this summer:
Elementary Camp includes Explorers & Discoverers (1st-6th grade)- A classic camp experience designed for your child to discover the love and grace of Christian community as they also begin to discover who they are as children of God.
Middle School Camp includes Challengers Confirmation Camp (6th-8th grade)– Campers become part of building a great camp community through team-building activities, low and high ropes courses, and shared time spent learning more about God and each other.
Adventurers Camp for High School (8th-12th grade)–Enjoy camp classics with friends new and old! During their week at camp, campers will canoe across the lake for an evening cook-out, enjoy dedicated activities for high school students, and participate in on-site service projects that have a far-reaching impact!
Bridge Builders is another offering for high school students interested in growing as leaders, developing peer ministry skills, and joining the fight against racism as an expression of your faith & our call to love our neighbors!
