  • Samaritas Refugee Sunday

    February 16, 2025

    Hope Lutheran Church welcomes Samaritas on February 16, 2025. Speakers include:

    • TC Anderson - Samaritas SEMI Refugee Services Resource Team, Presbyterian Pastor
    • Jessica Beamer, Chair of the Southeast Michigan Synod's Immigration and Refugee Task Force
    Join us to hear about Samaritas' role in supporting refugee families and refugee foster care youth throughout the state of Michigan and highlights of other Samaritas Ministries. International snacks, pictures, and updates from Hope's co-sponsored New American Families from 2018-2019 will be available during our Fellowship Hour between worship services.
  • Hope's Blessing Box, located outside on Hope's property, is a small free pantry offering non-perishable food, hygiene items, and cleaning supplies to those in need. Donated items are accepted year-round and placed in the Blessing Box by volunteers.

    At Hope we believe a vital part of our ministry is sharing our gifts and resources with the local and global community.  As such, we utilize our facility as a space for groups and individuals to gather for community, connection, and service.
