Hope's Sunday School program runs September through May and is for children ages Pre-K through 5th grade. It offers kids opportunities to build skills for faith formation practices (Bible reading, praying, etc.) as well as developing a basic understanding of God’s love for them and their identity as children of God!
What to expect: Participants begin in worship with their families, then join teachers to head to class after the Children’s Message. Kids also have the opportunity for communion or a blessing during worship before returning to their small group.
Volunteers needed: Volunteer teachers and assistants are also needed each week to cover our Pre-K & Kindergarten class, our 1st & 2nd Grade class, and our 3rd & 4th Grade class. 5th graders can participate in their age group class or opt to serve as junior counselors, assisting in other classes. Volunteers 18+ are asked to have a current background check and take our online Abuse Prevention Training class, both provided at no cost.
