Hope's Child Care is an essential part of our community with many families preferring to worship while their little ones are well cared for. Volunteers are needed for our Fellowship Hour and Modern Worship Service Sunday mornings. Middle school and high school teens are welcome to volunteer as well as adults. Please note that anyone 18 and over must have a background check and take our Abuse Prevention Training.

You heard that right ... coffee. Can't live without that smell of a perfectly brewed cup of coffee and we can't have a coffee bar without volunteers. We're looking for 2 volunteers each Sunday to cover our Fellowship Hour of 9:30am-10:30am.

Communion is a crucial piece of worship and how we experience God’s grace, and it is made possible by a team of dedicated Hope members who share responsibility to prepare and clean up the elements for worship each Sunday.  This team takes turns preparing communion for each service on any given week, and anyone who is interested is welcome to come be a part of this important ministry!

Communion servers play an important role in helping serve the sacrament of Holy Communion to our congregation during worship.  Communion servers assist by serving the wine/grape juice trays, or also sometimes helping distribute the bread.  As they serve, they offer God’s promise in this meal: “this is the body of Christ given for you, and the blood of Christ shed for you”.

Participate in Hope’s legacy of welcome and hospitality by serving as a Sunday morning greeter. Greet people as they enter the front doors on a Sunday morning, answer questions, and help all who enter feel welcome.

If you're looking to play a part in a welcoming team then ushering may be for you! This team is a crucial part of every service and volunteers are always welcome. Ushers welcome and invite everyone into the Sanctuary as well as answer questions as they arise. They also assist in collecting the offering and provide communion direction.

Worship assistants help lead our worship services along with the pastors.  Worship assistants read scripture and lead the prayers at both services, and can lead as much or as little as they feel comfortable doing.  Scripture readings are provided in advance, and all readings and prayers are provided in hard copy on Sunday morning.  Worship assistants are asked to arrive no later than 15 minutes prior to the service they are volunteering for.
