Farmington-Farmington Hills Neighborhood House

Farmington-Farmington Hills Neighborhood House is a non-profit supporting Farmington and Farmington Hills residents. Hope has a long history with the organization, notably through the Thanksgiving food and household supplies collection and Christmas Adopt-a-Family programs. They support the community through:
- Utility Assistance
- Rent Assistance
- Clothing
- Food
- People facing hunger or personal problems
- Referrals to other programs or organizations.
Hope collects non-perishable food items, paper products, cleaning supplies, and toiletries to help stock their pantry. Donations can be dropped off at the office Tuesday-Thursday between 10:00am-3:00pm or when coming to a Sunday service. To learn more about Farmington-Farmington Hills Neighborhood House, click here.

Active Faith Community Services

Active Faith’s mission is to provide long-term and temporary assistance to those who have fallen on difficult times, in hopes of returning them to the independent pursuit of their life’s goals. They serve residents in the South Lyon community.
Each month Hope collects specific food items to help stock the Active Faith food pantry. Donations can be dropped off at the office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays 10:00am to 3:00pm or when coming to a Sunday service.
Hope's 2025 Collection Schedule
- January - Canned Meat (Ravioli, Chili, etc.)
- February - Cereal (Boxed and "ready to eat")
- March - Crackers (Club, Ritz, Graham, etc.)
- April - Instant Oatmeal
- May - Soup (Canned or Dry)
- June - Spaghetti Sauce
- July - Canned Fruit
- August - Macaroni and Cheese
- September- Rice
- October - Tomato Sauce and Diced Tomatoes
- November - Cereal (Boxed and "ready to eat")
- December - Crackers (Club, Ritz, Graham, etc.)

Samaritas

Formerly Lutheran Social Services, Samaritas has supported vulnerable populations in Michigan for over 90 years, offering services like Foster Care, Affordable Housing, Mental Health and Substance Abuse support, and New American Families Refugee and Refugee Foster Care. Hope Lutheran Church has long supported Samaritas, especially its New American Families programs.
Urgent action: Stand with Refugees! The federal government has stopped all funding for recently arrived refugee families in Michigan. Your support is crucial to receive the care and services they were promised. To learn more about Samaritas or to donate, click here.

Oakland County Foster Closet

Oakland County Foster Closet is a non-profit providing free clothing, shoes, hygiene items, school supplies, and more to children in foster care, at-risk, adopted or part of low-income families. Funded by donations, fundraisers, and grants, all contributions directly benefit children. Donations can be dropped off Mondays from 10:00am to 2:00pm at 24400 Sinacola Ct., Suite B, Farmington Hills, or contact Chris Benedict to arrange a pickup. Lions International

Lions International's mission is to empower clubs, volunteers, and partners to improve health and well-being, strengthen communities, and support those in need through humanitarian service and grants that impact lives globally and encourage peace and international understanding.
Hope Lutheran Church participates in the Lions International Eyeglass Program, which provides eyeglasses to those in need. This program aims to ensure that individuals who cannot afford eyeglasses receive the necessary vision care.
Donations of usable eyeglasses can be dropped off during business hours and on Sundays. A bin is located in our Welcome Center.
