LENT & EASTER AT HOPE
Return to the Lord your God,
for he is gracious and merciful,
slow to anger, abounding in steadfast love
– Joel 2:13
Lent is a season set aside in the church year to intentionally pause, slow down, and in many instances, return to our faith. How often do we get so busy and going in so many directions that we live life on autopilot, or lose sight of what is important? There are many things that can distract us and pull us away from God and from faith. This Lent, we invite you to join us as we “Return” to God, to faith, to community, to ourselves. No matter how busy, distracted, or far off we get, God is always inviting us to return and to find peace and rest. Join us for worship this season, and maybe even consider “returning” to some additional faith practices, such as study, prayer, or service.
