Hope Summer Nights

August 14 Bulletin

Join us on the second Wednesday of the month for worship and fellowship as a faith community!  We will gather for a meal starting at 6:00pm and worship at 7:00pm, all outside, weather permitting (indoors in our gym if we have inclement weather).  This is a perfect opportunity to worship during the week if your summer travels take you out of town on the weekend, and in a more casual atmosphere, with time to enjoy the outdoors and fellowship with one another.  Invite your friends and neighbors to come along too!

Hope Summer Nights Schedule

  • June 12 - Freedom & Diversity in Christ Worship to celebrate Juneteenth and Pride Month
  • July 10 - “Created to Be” Youth Gathering-Themed Worship and Sendoff
  • August 14 - A Summer Camp Adventure with God Worship featuring our VBS “Camp Firelight”

SUMMER CAMP ADVENTURE

Wednesday, August 14

  • 6pm Fellowship Meal & Service Project (scroll to learn more about the service project/collection)
  • 7pm Outdoor Worship (indoor Worship if inclement weather)

Join us for Hope Summer Nights in August for food, fellowship, service, and worship! We will gather starting at 6pm for a meal and fellowship, followed by worship at 7pm with a special emphasis on Trusting God (Psalm 56) honoring the theme for this summer’s VBS, Camp Firelight. The worship service will include some of our VBS campers and a special blessing over our service project. All activities, including worship, will be outside (inside if inclement weather); we will have chairs available, but all are welcome to bring their own lawn/camping chairs, blankets etc. We will also have a “Kid-Zone” for our younger members to enjoy and play while they worship. There is no cost for the meal, but free-will donations may be given to cover the cost of the meal, as well as regular offering in worship. Plan to stick around after worship for more summer fun & s’mores!
