What does Active Faith do?
Active Faith provides long term and temporary assistance to those who have fallen on difficult times in hopes of returning them to the independent pursuit of their life’s goals.
Who does Active Faith serve?
Active Faith helps people in need in the South Lyon Community School District ... an 83 square mile area covering six different municipalities including parts of Oakland, Livingston and Washtenaw Counties. Active Faith distributes food and clothing to over 120 families and assists families in need. Active Faith is also an information and referral center for food, clothing, and utility assistance from other agencies.
How does Hope help Active Faith?
Each month, Hope members, family, and friends are invited to donate specific items that the Active Faith food pantry is in need of. Here's a month-by-month list of what's needed:
- October - Canned Meat (Ravioli, Chili, etc.)
- November - Cereal (Boxed, Ready to Eat)
- December - Crackers (Club, Ritz, Graham, etc.)
I want to donate! Where do I drop off?
Donations can dropped off at the main office Monday-Thursday between 11am-2pm or, if you prefer, our donation bin located outside of the west doors (under the portico) is available 24/7.
