  • Zentangle

    TANGLE 365 (WED 6:30-8PM)

    LEAD: GRACE STANCZAK | EMAIL

Tangle 365 features the Zentangle Method, which is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images with structured drawing patterns... these patterns are called ... tangles. This mentally and physically calming mindfulness technique is a gift that keeps on giving and...is great for gift-making! Tangles are created with combinations of dots, lines, simple curves, S-curves and orbs on pocket-sized pieces of paper called "tiles".

Zentangle art is non-representational and unplanned so you can focus on one stroke at a time and not worry about the result. There is no up or down, left or right. In fact, you can most easily create Zentangle art by rotating your tile as you tangle -- always keeping your hand in a relaxed position. You don't need to know what a tangle is going to look like to draw it. You just need to know the steps and trust the process. The result is a delightful surprise.

This class is offered at only $5 per visit (payable to the instructor) and is a drop-in style class. Please contact the instructor (listed above) for any needed supplies or questions.
