Hope Lutheran Church has suspended all in-building, in-person ministries until further notice due to COVID-19 safety recommendations - click for details.

Sunday Outdoor Worship status - see you at 11:00am!

Hope Farmington Hills

HOPE Farmington Hills is located at 39200 W. 12 Mile Road in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Due to COVID-19 safety recommendations and input from our Strategic Planning Council (SPC), we have restructured our Sunday services and invite everyone to worship with us in the following ways:

sundays at 9:30am

Worship with us online via our livestream from the comfort and safety of your own home. Our service begins at 9:30am.

Pajama Church

Sunday, November 8th & Sunday, December 6th

ALL ages welcome and encouraged to participate.

During our virtual worship we realized people watched worship in their pajamas. We love that! So we decided if you are participating at home (or in person), we should have PAJAMA CHURCH! It’s one BIG pajama party!

How this works ... if you are in-person or at home, wear your favorite (appropriate) PJs to Church! Take pictures. Send them to Pastor Greer. It's that easy!

Sunday school kids and parents are invited to a Zoom Pajama Party after worship on these Sundays, to show off their cozy pajamas.

So why not join us ... it’s easy, fun and festive!

For questions about Pajama Church and to send pictures, email Pastor Greer.

For questions about our online service, please email.

Sundays at 11:00am

Worship with us in-person, outside of Hope Farmington Hills! You read that right, we are offering an in-person worship service outside of the building, rain or shine (except in inclement weather) -- there are a few items we need to mention about this service:

    1. Parking is available in our North lot which is located by the garage, our South lot which is located by the church offices, and the adjacent business parking lot which is located to the West.
    2. Please bring your own camp/lawn chairs as none will be provided by Hope.
    3. For social distancing purposes, please sit in designated areas only.
    4. Unfortunately, Hope cannot provide Communion. Please bring your own food and drink as your Communion.
    5. Due to COVID-19 safety concerns, our building will not be open. We are sorry for any inconvenience.

If you have questions about our outdoor worship, please email.

  • 8:00am - Traditional (Lutheran Liturgy as you've always known it!)
  • 9:30am - Blended (Confusing word? Yeah ... think of a relaxed, laid back, family friendly 'Lutheran' worship experience)
  • 11:00am - Contemporary (Modern music with  an acoustic, organic feel ... VERY relaxed!)

Here is what you can expect every Sunday @ HOPE:

  • Coffee ... need we say more? (we ARE Lutheran after all)
  • A completely laid back "come as you are" atmosphere. Feel free to wear jeans, shorts or whatever...just wear something, everyone will appreciate it!
  • Great music in either a style you grew up experiencing in church OR something you recognize from the radio or iPod
  • A relevant message that actually applies to life in this digital, electronic, over-networked world we live in
  • Fun (and safe) environment for kids and youth to learn about Jesus
  • Normal people ... yeah, we are just as normal as everyone else (whatever that means)
  • Child Care - safe, friendly, and fun for kids up to 5 yrs old
  • Communion at each service

Stop by, join in, and don't forget to say hello!
