Lap Quilt Group

Lap Quilt Ministry

This group of women cuts, sews and assembles cotton lap quilts for those in nursing homes or hospitals. The group also makes lap quilts to be sold at Hope's Alternative Christmas Fair, with proceeds being donated to a local charity. Even if you are unable to sew, you can still become involved by cutting the materials to be sewn.

The group is always in need of donations of cotton material and quilt batting, people to cut material into squares, people to sew squares together and people to assemble the finished quilt.

The group meets on the first Saturday of the month during the school year at 10:00am-12:00pm in the office classroom. Come join the group and see what it’s all about. The local community is welcome to participate. Contact Deb Gauthier with questions.
