Service and Community

At Hope Church, part of our mission statement states that we are to BE disciples of Jesus Christ in our church, community, and world.  Part of being a disciple means that we should love and take care of each other.

So, more than just being members of a church, Hope's pastors have emphasized that we need to be disciples!  One way to help others is through service and community projects for those who are less fortunate than us.  We encourage you to become an active disciple and help out at one of Hope's many service opportunities.

Isaiah 58: 10-11, Jesus tells us, "Feed the hungry! Help those in trouble!  Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you shall be as bright as day.  And the Lord will guide you continually, and satisfy you with all good things, and keep you healthy too; and you will be like a well-watered garden, like an ever-flowing spring."

Along with serving the community at large, we also encourage you to be of service within our own Hope community.  Check out the many ways to be of service at the side of the page.
