Upon Arrival

Park your vehicle on the west side of the building, where you will find guest parking spaces.  When you enter the building, visit the welcome desk, where a member of the congregation will answer your questions and give directions to the sanctuary, Sunday school classrooms, or our staffed
nursery.

Service Times

You can experience both traditional and contemporary worship on Sunday mornings.  Come with an open heart and mind to worship Jesus Christ.  The best way to discover the heart of Hope is to worship with the community four or five times on a Sunday morning.  We are convinced that, while first impressions can mean a lot, the fourth or fifth impressions will give you a deeper sense of what is important to the people who gather for worship, study, service, prayer and fellowship.

Traditional worship at 8:15am makes use of a variety of liturgies from Evangelical Lutheran Worship (ELW) and includes traditional hymns, choirs and the organ. Contemporary worship at 9:30 and 11:00am has a less formal liturgy and is led by a worship team with vocalists, piano, guitars, drums and a variety of other instruments.

Holy Communion is celebrated each week. You will be invited forward by the ushers.  You will receive bread and wine from either the chalice or the small individual glasses. White grape juice is available in an individual glass for those who prefer not to drink wine and is located in the innermost ring of the communion tray. Those not receiving communion are invited to come forward for a blessing.

Attire

Hope is a "come as you are" congregation.  You'll notice people wearing a wide assortment of attire, ranging from suits and business casual clothing to jeans and t-shirts.

Nursery

Hope’s nursery is available to all children, newborn to four years of age throughout the morning on Sunday.  Nursery care is also available on Wednesdays from 6-8 pm as part of our WOW! (Word on Wednesday) program.  Marcy Bard, our Nursery Director, is a familiar face each week, along with parent volunteers.  Visit our nursery page to find out more.

Children

Children ages 3 through fifth grade have the opportunity to participate in our Faith Spark! Sunday school program every Sunday at 9:25 am from September through May.  We also encourage children to worship at 8:15 or 11:00am with their families.

Adults

Adults have the opportunity to attend both worship and Christian education classes on Sunday mornings.  There are also adult classes on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, as well as Wednesday morning.  Some classes are taught by the pastors and others are taught by members of the congregation.  If you haven't participated in Christian education before, we encourage you to give it a try.  You will discover other adults that are at various places on the journey of faith.
