You can experience both traditional and contemporary worship on Sunday mornings at Hope. Come with an open heart and mind to worship our Savior, Jesus Christ. The best way to get a sense of the congregation is to worship at least four or five times on a Sunday morning. We are convinced that, while first impressions mean a lot, the fourth and fifth impressions will give you a deeper sense of the community that gathers for worship, study, service, prayer and fellowship.
Traditional worship at 8:15am uses a variety of liturgies from Evangelical Lutheran Worship (ELW). This service includes traditional hymns, choirs and the organ. Contemporary worship at 9:30 and 11:00am uses a less formal liturgy and is led by a worship team including vocalists, piano, guitars, drums and a variety of other instruments.
We also offer Faith Spark! Sunday School for children from 3 years of age through fifth grade. Participants gather for singing, prayer, bible story learning through singing and sign language, and a readers theatre. Then, students and classroom leaders break into age-specific small groups. Register your child (ren) for Faith Spark! Sunday School.
Hope provides child care in the nursery for children 4 years of age and younger during all three worship services on Sunday. During the school year at 9:30am, children ages 3 and 4 are encouraged to attend Sunday school, but are always welcome in the nursery.
